As an official member of the PTAA you are part of a nationally recognized Phi Kappa Theta alumni board. Our organization will represent you and our chapter at national meetings and events, as well as participate in the governance of the national fraternity. Although we will constantly look for ways to bring as much value to our members as possible, the following is a list of current benefits that we have organized. With our continued growth we will add to this list as the opportunities to provide more services becomes available. Standard Member Benefits: * Nationally recognized organization * Monthly e-mail updates on the status of PTAA and the new PKT chapter at SFU * Updates on alumni events and fundraisers * Access to monthly meetings via our conference line * Ability to vote on certain issues in front of the board * Eligibilty to run for offices within the PTAA * Username and password for use on the PTAA alumni forums * Easily re-connect with past brothers and alumni * Assist in the re-colonization oh Phi Kappa Theta at SFU * Yearly newsletter and invitation to any PTAA events * Members joining before December 31, 2006 are charter members of the PTAA Premium Member Benefits: * All the benefits of a standard member * Embossed commemorative certificate suitable for framing * Your name as a Founding Father on the house dedication plague Once you have become a member you will receive an email confirming your membership as well as your username and password to the alumni boards. This will allow you to avoid the sign up process and start communicating with Theta alumni immediately. Meetings of the PTAA our tentatively schedule to start August 3, 2006 between 7pm and 8pm eastern time, and will continue to be held on the first Thursday of every month. Email updates will be sent out to all members one week prior with a meeting agenda, as well as updates on all topics involving the PTAA and the new chapter at St. Francis. If you are interested in attending the meeting we will provide you with the call in information for our conference line. |
