Goal
Through dues and fundraising, the goal of the PTAA Fund is
to pay for the operational costs involved in the creation and
maintenence of the Alumni Board. This account is where all
of the PTAA membership dues are kept. As it grows we
hope it will also serve to help us find new ways to bring
value to our members by being able to offer new or better
benefits.

The collection of dues and fundraisers will be the backbone
of this account, however it is critical that at these early
stages of our organization we have enough money in the
coffers to fulfill all of our financial obligations.
If you make a donation and have not paid membership dues for that year, then fifty
dollars from that amount will be put into this account and you will immediatley become an
active member.

What It Pays For
The operational costs for the PTAA include things such as National Dues so that we are a
nationally recognized alumni board, representation at the national conference, transaction
fees involved in accepting donations, maintaing the website, and more. In addition we
would like to provide some one-time scholarships to students if possible until the
endowment is able to provide for a more long-term scholarship program.

As our membership grows, we fully expect to provide additional benefits to members such
as special events for PTAA members during aluni weekends, or as separate events. We
would eventually like to host a dinner once a year that could serve as a awards banquet
with both alumni and current brothers.

All of these things and more are very possible within the framework we are creating. Any
assistance, whether it is in the form of money or time, is greatly appreciated.
